Carol J. Phillips

Carol J. Phillips, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on May 20, 2014. She was born in Anderson, Indiana to Harry H. and Leah J. Lane Reeder. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Phillips and her brother, Cary Reeder. Surviving are her children, Melanie J. (Greg) McAtee, Lisa K. (Steve) Gerber, James A. Phillips and Alice K. (Mark) Carson, sister, Linda (Don) Odom, brother, Alan (Jeanine) Reeder and grandchildren, Emily, Nikki, Rebecca, Leah, Samantha, Mary, Colin, Casey, Abby and Laura. Carol graduated from IUPUI with a Masters Degree. She retired in 1998 after many years of teaching at Warren Township Schools. She was a member of Ellenberger United Church of Christ and was a very devoted mother and wife.
