Carol Hinton

Carol Hinton 73 of Indianapolis, IN passed away unexpectedly November 5, 2023. She was born July 5, 1950, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Jewell (Burton) Martin.  Carol loved being with her family and especially cooking for them and preparing a family favorite, biscuits and chocolate gravy and bread pudding.  She was a very caring person, always giving back and was the glue for her family to hold them altogether.  Carol is survived by her children, Michelle Emerson, Sherri Manco, Rene Koons, David Brock, and her several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Hinton, her grandson, Michael David Brock, her sister, Ann Cubel, and her brothers, Roger Martin, Ernie Martin.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, 11:00am-12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with her Funeral Service there at 12:00pm.  She will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery following the service.  To share your memories of her with her family and sign the online guest registry please go to www.flannerbuchanan.com
