Carol Estelle Chapman

Carol Estelle Chapman 65, of Indianapolis, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 19, 2012. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Nealon and Estelle Squires Martin. She worked for ITT Technical Institute for 41 years as an Administrative Assistant. Carol was a faithful and dedicated Minister of Music and lifetime member of North Side New Era Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Nina Bingham (Jeff); son, Erik Chapman (Carmon); brothers, Ned Martin (Billie Jean), Kenneth Martin (Harriet), and Bishop Nealon Guthrie (Mary); cousin, Reverend Gregory Squires (LaVada); grandchildren, Jordan, Jadon, and Janae Bingham; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday, August 24, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at North Side New Era Baptist Church, 517 West 30th Street. A Musical Celebration Service will follow at 7 p.m. Home Going Celebration will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Noon in the church with calling at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
