Carl Swickard

Carl Swickard, Jr., 71 of Indianapolis passed away on July 17, 2014 with his children by his side. He was born in Indianapolis and served in the US Air Force from 1962-1966 as a B-47 and B-52 Bomber Mechanic. He retired from the Indianapolis Star after 31 years as a Mailer. He enjoyed hanging out at Starbucks. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Alice Swickard and his brothers, Jack Swickard and Ted Swickard. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Jennifer (Steve Lowery) Swickard, Michelle (Robert) Swickard-Anderson and Jason (Tara) Swickard, his brother, Bud Swickard and his grandchildren, Mikah Anderson, Shalonda Anderson, Jasmine Anderson, Darion Anderson, Sierra Swickard, Madison Grunow, Shelby Swickard, Ella Swickard and Antwoine, Jr..
