Carl Rice

Carl Rice 87, of Indianapolis, was born in Petersville, KY on May 15th, 1924 to William and Mary Jane (Green) Rice who both preceded him in death. Carl left this life on December 26th, 2011, and was a member of Evanston Wesleyan Church. Carl and his wife, Pauline (Montgomery) Rice were married September 7th, 1946 and she survives him. Carl is also survived by his daughter Pam (Rice) and husband Richard LaMar; his four grandchildren, Angie (Jim) Weinmann, Traci (Ryan) Yanavich, Rachel (Ryan) O'Haver, and Rick (Carrie) LaMar, as well as eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Evanston Wesleyan Church, 69th and Evanston Avenue in Indianapolis, from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 29th. The funeral will be held on Friday, December 30th at Evanston Wesleyan Church at 11:30 AM with visitation from 10:30 AM until service time. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In Celebration of Carl's life, the family is requesting contributions be made to the Alzheimers Research Foundation in lieu of flowers.
