Carl R. Nicholson

Carl R. Nicholson, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away June 14, 2013. He was born January 21, 1932 in Gas City, Indiana to Edward and Flossie Nicholson. He retired from Grocery Supply, where he was in charge of the graphic arts department. Carl was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his children, Mark(Pam) Nicholson, Danny Nicholson, Matt Nicholson, Peggy(Greg) Higgins, John(Kim) Nicholson, and Katie(Charlie Matthews) Adams; 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 4-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
