Carl R. Denney

Carl R. Denney, 89, of Greenwood, passed away August 5, 2013 at his home. He was born in Monroe County, Indiana the son of Charles and Mary (Baker) Denney. He was a WWII, US Army veteran. He was an electronics technician with AID Electronics. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wilma, his son Perry and his loving companion Buddy. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Whetsel (Greg) of Cumberland and Pam Chelf (Mike) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brad Denney (Kerrie), Kelly Jones, Rob Gorbett (Carol), Julie Raber, Jill Uppencamp, Zach and Matt Dallas; 6 great-grandchildren; and his loving companion Siam also survive. Graveside funeral services 10:00 AM, Friday, August 9, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites.
