Carl Phillips

Verlyn Phillips age 80 of Fishers, Indiana died July 22, 2011. He was born September 16, 1930 at Zionsville, IN to the late Arthur and Gertrude Burns Phillips. Verlyn and his father were the owners of C. V. Phillips, Dealer in Livestock and Trucking. He worked for Tom Harris Chevrolet and retired after 36 years in sales with Bill Estes Chevrolet. Verlyn was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church for 31 years. His wife Nancy Ellen; daughters Karen, Vicki, sons; Jim and Steve, also 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Joanne Matz also survive. Verlyn was preceded in death by his sisters Jewell White and Marjorie Stonehill. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville Funeral Center from 4 to 8 pm with the services Wednesday, July 27th 11 am at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, IN with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
