Carl 'Fred' Marsh

Carl "Fred" Marsh 88 of Indianapolis, IN died January 5, 2012 surrounded by his family. Carl was the Owner and Operator of Marsh Garage that he opened in 1958. Carl proudly served his country in the U S Army Air Corp during World War II. He was active with his church, profession and community serving on many boards and committees. He is the Past President of the Automotive Maintenance Service Association; Board of Directors for Camp Lakeview, member of the Lutheran Service Club, 584 Bomb Squadron, Westside Exchange Club and many more. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pat, children, Curt Marsh, Carla (Mark) Thompson, Rosalyn "Rosie" (Todd) Fakes, 4 grandchildren, sister, Phyllis Seay and 5 nieces. Services for Carl will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 11 AM at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church 9201 E. County Road 100 N Avon, IN of which he was a longtime member. Visitation will be Sunday January 8th 3-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery.
