Carel Anthony Grays

Carel Anthony Grays went home to glory on January 22, 2013 at the young age of 53, in Indianapolis, IN. He was born to parents Charlie Grays, Jr. and Julia Grays on July 27, 1959. He professed a hope in Christ as a teenager and was a member of Rock of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Arlington High School and received 2 Management Development degrees. He worked at Klostermans Baking Company where he was a supervisor for 11 years. He was married to Michelle Diane Grays on May 2, 1986 in Indianapolis, IN in which they were happily married for 27 years. Through this union Tony gained the love of a son, James Harrison Campbell and they also adopted 4 children. He was preceded in death by father, Charlie Grays, Jr., mother, Julia Grays, sister, Charlie Mae Grays and son, James Harrison Campbell. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Grays; children, Zanetta Grays, Dizion Grays, Anna Grays, Carel Anthony Grays, Jr., Danielle Campbell, Billy Grays, Katrina Scott and Janet Grays; siblings, Wilola Sheffield, Robert Grays, Barbara Al-Hamid, John L. Grays, Barbara Jones, Violet Mitchell, Tyrone Grays, adoptive sister Martina McBride; grandchildren Marcel Campbell, Kilah Campbell, Kimoni Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229 with entombment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
