Camry Donae Brown
March 26, 1996 – July 3, 2025
With extraordinary grace and courage, Camry Donae Brown passed away on July 3, 2025, just ten hours after giving birth to her son, Chance Toliver Farias. She was 29 years old.
Born in Vincennes, Indiana, Camry lived with deep passion, intention, and care for those around her. She was brave, radiant, and fiercely present—a perfectionist in the best sense, a thoughtful gift-giver, and someone whose presence made others feel instantly seen and safe.
Her greatest joy was teaching yoga, helping others find stillness, strength, and breath. She carried that same presence into her professional work, earning a Master of Jurisprudence and dedicating her career to improving mental health care for lawyers and judges. She believed in tending to the soul joyfully, consistently, and with conviction.
Camry was on fire for life. She loved deeply and lived fully. She is survived by her husband, Collin Farias, and their newborn son, Chance; her parents, Teddy Brown and Dina Wilkison (stepfather, John Wilkison); her brothers, Kenan and Torry; and countless others whose lives were brighter because of her.
Camry and Collin shared a love that felt like home—a love where both of them felt their safest. After her diagnosis of stage four colon cancer in May 2024, they promised to live as fully as possible in every moment they had left. Camry kept that promise, with remarkable strength and grace.
A memorial service will be held at Flanner-Buchanan Washington Park North in Indianapolis on July 13th.

Camry’s legacy is one of fire, love, and strength. May we carry her spirit forward—in how we breathe, how we care, and how we live.
