Bruce 'Skip' Simmons

Bruce "Skip" E. Simmons 72, of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 24, 2013. He was retired as a Welder from Heat Exchange and Design after 17 years. He was a member of the Greensburg and Westport Eagles Club. He loved to fish, hunt, play cards especially poker and was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Blodgett) Simmons, children, Pamela Black, Patricia Kundovic, Steve and Mark Borden, James Crockett, grandchildren, Angela Jo Davis, Michelle Renee Borden, Krista Laine, Kamilah K. Black, Brandon Borden, great grandchildren, Rhea Dawn Gatewood, Aryn Nicole Davis, Austin Borden, Kinsey Borden and great great granddaughter, Trystan RaeAnn Gatewood. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gabe and Lois Simmons and a grandson Aaron Michael Borden. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 5 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there beginning at 3 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Flanner and Buchanan.
