Bruce L. Jones

Bruce L. Jones 71, of Martinsville, passed away June 2, 2013. He was born November 20, 1941 in Anderson, Indiana to the late James K. and Eula Mae Jones. He graduated in 1960 from Markleville High School in Markleville, Indiana. He was employed by Navistar for 35 years. Bruce enjoyed fishing, boating, all sports, and was an avid Colts and Pacers fan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Susan Jones, daughter, Amy(Ty) Gregg, son, Tim(Jamie) Jones, five grandchildren, Michael, Tony, Farrin, Tyler, and Ashley, and great granddaughter, Piper. Also surviving are his sisters, Joyce(Nelson) Whittle, Eva(Edward) Patton, Judy(Randy) Thompson, Lynn(Wayne) Keene; sister-in-law, Dianne Jones; step-mother, Ethel Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald R. Jones. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
