Brian Lillard

Brian Lillard, 53, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Saturday June 21, 2025. He was surrounded by his wife Heidi and his son Bobby.

Brian was born on August 18, 1971, to Bobby Martin and Toni Lillard. He was a skilled craftsman who spent most of his life working as a carpenter, taking great pride in building and creating with his hands. His love for making things extended beyond his work – he was always tinkering, fixing, or improving something, with an infectious can-do attitude that made him a pleasure to be around. Brian was also an avid sports fan, who loved cheering on his beloved Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and Cincinnati Reds, attending games regularly with his son Bobby. Above all, Brian deeply loved his family, spending quality time with loved ones being his favorite pastime. He shared a strong bond with his wife, Heidi, and was a proud, loving father to his son Bobby.

Brian is preceded in death by his dad Bobby Martin, his mom Toni Lillard, and his sister Tonya Martin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Heidi; sons Bobby Lillard and Blake Buchanan, father and mother-in-law, Phil and Karen Eckart, brother-in-law Aaron Eckart, uncle and aunt Tommy and Peggy Martin, aunt Tammy Newby, and countless other close friends and cousins, most notably Eric, Tommy Jr., and Kevin Martin.

Visitation will take place Friday June 27, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 4:00pm.
