Brenda K Vandal

Henderson, Kentucky – Brenda K. Vandal, 68, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2026. Her joy, her love of life, and her support of her family will be forever missed.

Brenda was born on August 4, 1957, in Beech Grove, Indiana to her parents Bob Johnson & Ann Moore. Brenda was a stay-at-home mom for many years until deciding to go to work to help support her family later on in life.

Brenda was always the life of the party though and enjoyed the nightlife, like playing pool with her friends and most especially, music like jazz or country music. Her independence and strong-willed nature made her a role model for her children and friends.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved husband Roger Vandal.

She is survived by her children, Tonya Webb (Anthony), Jimmy Crum, Richard Adams (Natasha); grandchildren Christian Broderdorp, Makailee Carroll, Alyssa Adams, Alexis Crum, Little Richie Adams, and Emmalyn Grande; great-grandchildren Ethan Broderdorp, Easton Broderdorp, and Isabella Stinger; nieces Tammy Vandal, Brenda Lopez, and Ashley Martinez; as well as many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229) from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Burial will take place immediately following the visitation at Washington Park East Cemetery.
