Brenda Kay Wiesen

Greenwood – Brenda Kay (Hart) Wiesen, 63, of Greenwood, went home to be with our Lord Tuesday December 13, 2022.  Born in Indianapolis, IN; graduated from Carmel High School in 1978, graduated from Ball State in 1983.  She was a 15-year member of New Hope Presbyterian Church and elder.  Brenda loved traveling, wine, entertaining, gardening, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her father Larry H Hart and mother Barbara E. (Hanson) Hart, aunt Sharon Dee (Hart) Prete, uncle John T Hart.  Survived by husband Christopher P. Wiesen, son Matthew D. Wiesen (Megan) and daughter Stephanie Kay Phelan (Thomas); grandchildren Betty, Rex, Rhett, brothers Lee H Hart (Margie) and Rick R. Cordray (Kim), aunt Kathy Lee Hart, uncle Richard Hanson and step-mother Lois A. Douglas.

There will be a funeral service to celebrate Brenda’s life at 1:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2022.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North Cemetery and Funeral Center, 2706 Kessler Blvd, West Dr., Indianapolis, IN.  The service can also be viewed via livestream at https://tinyurl.com/54smce3u  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to New Hope Presbyterian Church www.newhopefishers.org and/or Fountains of Hope @ www.fountainsofhope.org
