Brenda Kay Rees

Brenda Kay Rees, 58, of Indianapolis passed away on January 16, 2019.

Brenda could best be remembered by her smile, her laugh, and her love for her family. Brenda worked at Regal Beloit for 10 years. She loved to spend time with her daughters and grandson. She enjoyed Nascar, football, and baseball. Brenda loved being outside enjoying the sunshine. Brenda also enjoyed classic rock and oldies music. In recent years, Brenda loved traveling to Oregon to visit her oldest daughter. Here is where they were able to visit two lighthouses (Brenda’s favorite scenery). Brenda will be missed sorely by all of the lives she has touched.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jessica and Melissa;  her grandson, Ethan; and her siblings, Connie Wright, Tina Parks, Rick Johnson and Tom Johnson.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Johnson; and her brother, Robert Jr.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2018 from 11AM-1PM with a funeral service beginning at 1PM at Flanner Buchanan—Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46222.
