Brenda Faye Herrington Porterfield

Brenda passed away in Crestview, Florida where she lived on June 16, 2021.

Born December 30, 1950 at St. Francis in Beech Grove, IN to James and Virginia Herrington. She attended Tech High School and Warren Central High School.

Survivors include her children James (Lauri) Evans, Becky Evans, Jason Mabis, Jeremy Sweeney, her husband Ted Porterfield, brothers Harry (Liz) Roberson, James Alan (Michelle) Herrington, sister Sharron (Ed) Clearwater and her aunt Wilma Mack. Brenda is survived by 13 grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her brother Harold Herrington, her parents James and Virginia Herrington, her daughter Belinda Sweeney and her grandson Dakota Mabis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brenda loved to do diamond art pictures sharing them with family and friends.

She loved riding the Harley with her husband Ted.

Visitation will be Friday, June 25th from 10 to 12 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN with Funeral Services beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
