AKA Boyd “the” Butcher
55 years young
Passed away after a year battle with Congestive Heart Failure.
He loved his career as a package delivery driver for B.G.Express through FedEx. There wasn’t a stranger in his life. He was a one of a kind character. There will never be another like him. He would do anything for Anyone. And loved to make people laugh. The stories he told, were real events. He wants to be remembered with laughs, not tears, unless they are from laughing. He was amazing husband and father. He loved bracket drag racing, where he won the bracket finals in 2017, to go to Pomona, CA where he lost the fuel pump after the 1st round. He also loves roller skating, bowling, figure 8 racing, darts and bass fishing. He was great at everything he did (except singing and dancing).
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vickie (Parker) Butcher; 2 daughters, Shaelyn and Bair’n Butcher; 1 granddaughter, Ali; 1 grandson, Ryker. Mother Carolyn and step father, Barron Staten. And his beloved dog Lilly.
He is preceded in death by father, Boyd Sr; nephew, Cody Butcher; and Howard Gamble, who was a dad to him.
