Bonnie Marie Houpt

Bonnie Marie (Jackson) (Bryce) Houpt, aged 85, peacefully departed this world on July 7, 2026. Born on September 12, 1940, in Birdseye, Indiana, she was the cherished daughter of Alpha William Jackson and Mary Alberta (Root) Bolden.

Bonnie was a beloved mother to Griffin (Katie) Bryce, Garret (Al) Noblet, and a caring stepmother to Doug Houpt, Debbie Streeter, and Kim (Pete) Wenger. Her heart and wisdom live on through her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar W. Bryce and Edward L. Houpt, Bonnie was also a dear sister to Brenda Waddle, Sherry Dollar, Shelley Cummins, and her brother Randall Jackson.

Bonnie's spirit will be celebrated on July 13, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan Speedway. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. Graveside following at West Ridge Park. She touched many hearts in her colorful way, and attendees are invited to honor her memory by wearing vibrant clothing.
