Bobby Ray Vincent

Bobby Ray Vincent, 79, of Quinton, Virginia, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Richmond, Virginia.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Western Electric, which eventually became Lucent Technologies. He was a member of Brookside Masonic Lodge # 720 in Greenwood, IN for almost 58 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Vincent; father, Herman Vincent; and mother, Frances Perdue.

He is survived by his son, Keith Vincent; grandson, Sebastian Vincent; and longtime companion, Deborah Spruell.

A funeral was held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Virginia 23231.

An additional service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.

There will be a brief Mason service from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM.  Following the Mason service, there will be a gathering of family and friends until 12:00 Noon.

He will be privately laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery with his wife Esther Vincent.
