Bobby Gene Hall

New Palestine, Indiana – Bobby Gene Hall, 81, passed away peacefully while being comforted by his family on June 2, 2026.

Bob was born in Evarts, Kentucky on October 28, 1944, to parents Claude and Pearl Elsie (Ellenberg) Hall. He worked for over 30 years at Kroger’s Indianapolis Bakery in shipping and receiving, relishing the fresh smell of bread every day.

A devoted family man, Bob centered his life around the love of his life, Judith, and their special needs daughter, Lesley. The family was more than tight-knit, they were truly devoted and sacrificed much of their own needs and wants to make sure Lesley had the best kind of life they could give her.

When he had the chance to relax, Bob loved to fish, play softball, or keep up with sports on television.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife Judith; daughter Lesley; brothers Bill, Homer, Bud, Elmer; sisters Louise, Faye, and Marge.

He is survived by his brother James Hall (Debbie), and many nieces and nephews.
