Blanche L. Welshans

Blanche L. Welshans, 102, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014. She was born April 24, 1912 in Indianapolis to the late Harry Clay and Margaret Catherine Wilson Maple. She is survived by her daughters Sharon Burris and JoAnn McPherson; grandchildren Kim Wright, Lori Amburn, Kristi Burris, Lisa Bailey, Jenny Hand, Scott Welshans, Bill Harrison, and Ken White; as well as many great- and great-great-grandchildren who affectionately called her "GG". In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Welshans and her son Robert R. Welshans. There are no public services planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
