Billy Carver

Billy Carver 76, of Indianapolis, died November 15, 2014. Billy was born on February 15, 1938 in Scottsville, KY to Henry and Hazel Powell Carver. After serving his country in the US Marine Corps, he worked for Airborne Express as an over the road truck driver for 27 years, retiring in 2003. He was also a member of the Teamsters #135, Wayne Guthrie Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine Temple. When he wasn't working, he loved spending time with his family, working in the yard, cutting trees and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rubie (Eubank) Carver, children Charles (Gail) Carver, Pam (Kent) Frost, Hazel (Greg) Griffo, Billy E. (Tina) Carver, Terry L Carver, Caroline (Michael) Weilhamer, 16 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Floral Park. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm in the funeral center.
