Billie Bonita Willard, 74, of Greenfield, IN passed away on June 28, 2022.  Billie was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 23, 1948, to parents, Carney L. and Florence Lavern (Tafflinger) Nickleson.  During her career, Billie worked in the Deli at Kroger and Walmart for over 25 years.

Short and sassy, Billie was also one of the most loving, thoughtful and empathetic ladies you could have ever met. She was always thinking of others even when facing battles of her own.  She was extremely caring and would go out of her way to bring joy to others.  She would often find ways to incorporate her love for crafting to create gifts for those she loved.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, flowers, and baking.  She also loved being in nature, especially bird watching and butterflies.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Willard; brother, Jack Nickleson and his wife, Harlean; sister, Beverly Paugh and her first husband, Bill Harris and second husband, Bob Paugh.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Denna Denise Rucker; grandchildren: Jacqueline Rucker, Edward Rucker III and Carleigh Rucker; as well as many other loving extended family members and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park (9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis), with graveside services immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
