Beverly 'Jeanne' Cox

Beverly "Jeanne" Cox 70, passed peacefully from this world on Friday, January 30, 2015. She resided in North Ft. Myers, Florida. Jeanne was born on July 13, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Johnny Linke and Mary (Applegate) Linke. She was retired from many years in public service with the U.S. Postal Service. Jeanne was an avid golfer, loved to travel, spend time with her grandchildren and entertain family and friends. She was a beloved mom, step-mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norm, sister Joyce Lauer, brother Butch Ping, daughter Cindy Gerard, and grandmother Flossie Callaway. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Hauck, son George Skeen, sisters Sherl Applegate and Vicki Linke, three stepdaughters, three stepsons, five grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and six great step grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, February 28 with a Memorial Gathering 12 noon until the time of service at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
