Beverly Ellen Edinger, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away April 10th, 2023. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan, February 13th, 1954, to parents William and Nancy (Kelly) Collins.
She worked as a custodian for Clinton W. Young Elementary school for many years, before retiring.
Beverly was a strong woman with a huge heart. She saw the good in everyone and treated everyone with kindness. Throughout her life, she enjoyed fishing. She traveled to rivers and lakes near and far and taught her children and grandchildren how to catch and cook what they caught. Beverly loved to travel and was always game to take a road trip, especially if there was a yard sale or thrift store along the way. In her down time, she enjoyed crosswords and sudoku. Beverly had a soft spot for children, making her a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Beverly is survived by her children Timothy Collins and Joseph Collins; grandchildren Mercedies Collins, Jeremiah Collins, Kylie Collins and Katelynn Collins; great-grandchildren Kayleigh Walters, Mason Walters, Anyah Holmes, Arreonah Holmes, and Charles Becraft; siblings Nina Jones, Michael Collins, Debra Collins, and Teresa Hammons.
She is preceded in death by her son Rodney L. Collins; siblings Carolyn Collins, Roger Collins, Jimi Collins, and Donald Collins; her first husband Dale Edinger; second husband Gregory Fulk; as well as her parents William and Nancy.
Visitation for Beverly will be Tuesday April 18th, from 11-1pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East; Her funeral will begin at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East.
