Beverly A. Miller, 83, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Marysville, PA, passed away on June 18, 2021, with her daughter by her side. She was born on January 4, 1938, in Altoona, PA to the late G. Kenneth and Dorothea Cutshall.
She graduated from Shippensburg State Teachers College in 1959 with a Bachelor of Education degree and retired in 1997 as a sixth-grade language arts teacher from the East Pennsboro School District in Enola, PA.
Beverly was the widow of Charles S. Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda J. Miller of Indianapolis; brother Harry E. (Patricia) Cutshall of El Paso, TX; sister Sylvia L. (Howard) Noel of Hollidaysburg, PA; and sister Millicent I. (Roy) Leedy of Altoona, PA. She was preceded in death by her sister Donna J. Nail and brother Kenneth E. Cutshall.
Beverly loved visiting Hawaii, bird-watching, cats, Sunday morning breakfast with friends, and classical music. She enjoyed traveling and took many wonderful trips until Alzheimer’s disease robbed her of that pleasure.
There will be no public services. A private memorial service with family will be held at a future date. She will be laid to rest in Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, PA, next to her parents.
The family suggests memorial contributions to a Humane Society or Animal Rescue organization of your choice or the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.
