Beula Carver

Beula Carver, 83, passed away November 4, 2023. 

 

She was born on February 16, 1940, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, to Dillard and Clovie Kingery. 

 

Beula attended school in Kentucky. After marrying Joe in 1956, she devoted her life to being a homemaker and raising her four children and many grandkids. She worked briefly at Top Hat and Fairmount Glass in Indianapolis, but her true passion was taking care of her family. Beula enjoyed attending church and gospel singing events. She liked playing bingo, card games, and Aggravation with her friends and family. She was known for her good cooking and spotless house.

 

She is survived by; her husband Joe Carver, her children: Douglas Carver, Sherri (Ernie) Crabtree, Patty (Bob) Clark, and Donna (Mack) Russell, her grandchildren and their families: Nancy (Ray) Phillips - Darian, Sydnie, Riley; Tasha (Charles) Goodlow - Sasha, Cadyn; Megan (Carlos) Carver - Cristina, Cris, Amiyah, Sophia; April (Jon) Kelley - Jonathon, Makenzie, Robert; Dustin Clark; Shelby (Derrick) Nelson; Aaron Russell; Stacy (Melvin) Dixon - Tyler, Jordan; Joe (Elisha) Garner; Courtney (Ricki) Russell - Gabriel; and her brother, Johnny (Carla) Kingery.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Diana Lynn; sisters Ina May Owens, Bessie Kingery; brothers J.T., Raymond, and Charles.

 

Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46222, with burial to follow in Floral Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service.
