Betty A. Weber

Betty A. Weber, age 90 of Indianapolis/Greenwood, IN passed away on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026.

Betty was born on December 29, 1935 in Bushnell, South Dakota, a daughter of Michael T. and Anna Magedline (Marso) Aulner.

Betty was one of six children: Don, Laverne, James, Betty, Jerald, Priscilla. All of her siblings have preceded her in death.

Betty married John A. Weber on November 20, 1955 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is survived by her husband of 70 years: John A. Weber of Greenwood, Indiana.

She is also survived by her four children: Becky Miller, Bob (wife Judy) Weber of Dayton, TN, Diane (husband Joe) Lang of Exton, PA, and Julie (husband Mike) McAtee of Greenwood, Indiana.

Eight grandchildren: Virginia, Jake, Audra, Melissa, Eric, Nick, Steven and Sara Ann.

As well as five great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and siblings mentioned above.

Betty was born in Bushnell, SD. She was raised in White, SD where she attended grade school and high school. She graduated White High School in 1953.

After high school she worked at a stenographer in a lawyers office but essentially started to raise a family.

Throughout her professional and working career she worked as a bookkeeper.

In her free time she loved many things including sewing, quilting, crocheting, and painting. She was very artistic and creative.

She was Catholic in faith and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Greenwood. She loved to cook for her family members and host for the holidays.

Most importantly Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

All services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church, located at 335 S. Meridian Street, Greenwood, IN 46143.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM. Father Thomas Day will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
