Betty Rose Smith

Betty Rose Smith, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017.

She was born on November 30, 1928 in Bedford, IN to the late Lon and Bessie (Radcliff) Bolding. Betty worked for many years with Davis Cleaners and Lamping Cleaners, retiring in 2003. She is survived by her son, Melvin (Vivian) Smith; step-son, Larry Lafollette; grandson, Zachary Smith; 3 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin H. Smith; sisters, Frances Head, Violet Wallace and Gladys Sallee; brother, Lewis Bolding.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
