Betty Sue Pitcock

Betty Sue Pitcock, 84, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family. Born on October 18, 1941, in Monticello, Kentucky, to Richard and Jo Lee Morris, Betty was the third of eight children and was the steady heart of every endeavor.

Betty met the love of her life, David Pitcock, at White Castle, where she worked as a manager for many years. Their connection was instant and enduring, and together they built a remarkable life marked by devotion, teamwork, and laughter. Married for 57 years, Betty and David created not only a family but also a legacy of shared dedication through their many business ventures. Together they owned and operated Pitcock Scavenger Service, Dave’s Trucking Company, and Dave & Betty’s Diner, where Betty’s presence, and kindness were felt by employees and customers alike.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jo Lee Morris; her grandson, Dr. Chad Marvel; and her siblings Billy, Bobby, Ricky, and Danny Morris, Barbara O’Neil, and Bonnie Kinser. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, David; her four children, Betty Bouse (Barry), Robbie Pitcock, Steven Pitcock (Penny), and Craig Pitcock; her sisters Brenda Hebble and Rita Collins; as well as her cherished grandchildren—six grandsons and four granddaughters—and nine great grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

To know Betty was to know genuine kindness, unwavering loyalty, and a love that radiated through every part of her world. Her strength, dedication, and gentle humor touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue through the family she treasured so dearly.
