Betty Mae Fishback Eaton

Betty Mae Eaton, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away March 23, 2013 at Christina House in Franklin, IN. Betty was born July 8, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN, a daughter of John Wesley and Dorothy Leona (Ledford) Fishback. She was a homemaker and earlier in her life was an active member of the Beech Grove Chapter of The Order of Eastern Star. Preceding her in death were her parents; and a half -brother, Johnny Fishback. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by her husband, Charles Henry Eaton, Jr.; children, Cynthia and Mark Smith; and Penny Shumaker and her husband Mark; grandchildren, Mark Byerly, David and Daniel Shumaker, Allen and DeAnna Smith; great-grandchildren, Briley Ellis and Hannah Shumaker; and sister, Georgia Webb. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229.
