Betty Lou (Schoenemann) Emanuel

Betty Lou Emanuel, 80, of Indianapolis, IN passed away January 31, 2015. She was born on August 29, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Carl and Dora Fern (Avery) Schoenemann. She was retired from Eli Lilly after 25 years in the Accounts Payable Dept. She was the Past Honor Queen for Jobs Daughters Bethel 86 and a 50+ year member of the West Newton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, Charmus L., Donna S., Carl (Darrell Summers) Emanuel, 3 grandchildren Kevin (Danielle), Karl (Kim), Hannah, 2 great grandchildren Laythan, Liam, and sister, Wanetta (Bill) Stumm. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur A. "Andy" Emanuel, who passed away on October 13, 1990. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3rd, 4:00PM - 8:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur Township. Funeral services will be held at Valley Mills Christian Church, 5555 Kentucky Ave., Indianapolis, IN, which she was a member of, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 10:00 AM with services beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastor Kevin Able will officiate at the funeral service. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
