Betty Lou Montgomery Hubbard
92, of Avon, died on November 19, 2014. Betty was born in Indianapolis on January 3, 1922 to Elza H Montgomery and Tillie Myrtle (Gubelman) Montgomery. Betty married James M. Hubbard on March 7, 1953 in Danville, IN. He preceded her in death in 1992. Betty was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis, received her bachelor's degree from Butler University, and a Master's degree from Indiana State University. She was a legal secretary for Barnes, Hickam, Pantzer & Boyd, a business teacher at Pike High School, and retired from the Marion County Probation Department. Survivors include Melanie G. Conley, James J. Hubbard, and Hurst Hubbard. Services will be conducted Sunday at 3pm in Flanner and Buchanan- Floral Park, by Fr. William Barfield of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church in Danville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
