Betty K. Mcguire

77, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018. Betty was born August 13, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Mary (Erickson) and Edward Bayless. Betty graduated from Shortridge High School in 1959 and later graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in 1962.

Betty was an amazing lady with a heart as big as her beautiful smile. She was loved and adorned for her wit, strength and her wisdom. Betty was not only kind and generous to those she loved but to the Shortridge and Methodist Alumni organizations that she donated too regularly throughout the years.

Betty will be greatly missed by her loving children, Kelli L. Mattingly (Michael) and Mark McGuire; sister, Jane Ratliff; grandchildren, Adenn McGuire and Tyler Ottinger; nieces, Cheryl Hiatt and Bridgette Cook; nephew, Morris (Buddy) Ratliff and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 12pm-2pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park North. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery.
