Betty Jo Fowler

79, of Lawrence, passed away on November 8, 2015. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles R. and Sarah L. Burkhart. Betty was a graduated of Lawrence Central High School and attended Butler University. She was a homemaker and bridal consultant. Betty was a longtime member of Outlook Christian Church, where she served as a Deaconess among other ministries. She also was a member of the Lawrence Fire Department Womens Auxiliary Committee. Betty was an avid golfer and a sports enthusiast, she touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Fowler.
Betty is survived by her children; Sheri, Ben and Patricia. Grandchildren; Kristen (Kerry), Kelsey, McKinsey, Delaney, Jack, Sarah and great-grandchild, Weston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org), Caring Bridge or Outlook Christian Church.
