Betty Jean Lindsey

Betty Jean Lindsey, age 90 of Indianapolis passed away on September 19, 2016. She was born April 9, 1926 in Kokomo, Indiana to Fred and Elsie Colwell. She retired from Thomas’ Market and then worked for Curtis Auto Sales until she was 73. She enjoyed reading, traveling, the ocean, the casino but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Hayward Lindsey and her sons, Billy and Don. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Frances Harper, Carol and Bob Curtis, Judy and Joe Patterson and Danny Lindsey, 8 grandchildren, LeeAnn Gibson, Lisa Burris-Turner, Jeff Harper, Erika Harper-Cain, Jenny Walker, Bobby Curtis, David Harper and Kelly Vasel. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
