Betty Jean Lawson

Betty Jean Lawson, 77 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 19^th, 2023. Betty was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on January 20, 1946, to the late Bob McDonald and Mamie (Suttor) McDonald.

She worked for USPS as a manager for over 30 years and later retired. Betty was a member of First United Evangelical Church serving as their treasurer or 20 plus years. She loved Jesus, spending time with her family, going to garage sales, anything Elvis, and the Indianapolis Colts. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Betty is survived by her son Todd Lawson; three grandchildren, Micaela Lawson, Sapphire Lawson, Todd Lawson Jr.; one great grandchild Sebastian Brewster; and her siblings Joyce Stevenson, Linda McDonald, and Huey McDonald.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10:00am at First United Evangelical Church at 2916 W. Mooresville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46221.
