Betty Jean Frye

Betty Jean Frye 1922-2015 Betty went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 17, 2015. She is reunited with her loving husband of over fifty years Harold "Bud"Frye in heaven. She was a loyal member of Lynhurst Baptist church for over 60 years. Who among us does not think of her each time we see a butterfly? Who among us was not made a better person because of her warm influence and gentle nature? She fed us all by sharing her life and giving Spirit -a life of quiet forgiveness for all - and acceptance of all - just as Jesus taught. "Family"-No Sweeter Word for Betty than "Family ." She loved her enormous family created through years of giving, sharing and loving. She loved all she touched and hopes you loved her too. All who came into her life were considered special & unique -and accepted for who they were. You felt her gentle warmth when you were in her kitchen, living room , or on the swing on the back porch. She leaves behind her four children Jim (Lynda), Beverly, Hal (Michelle), and Steve (Cara). Grandchildren Tracey (Kevin), Andy (Denise), Matt (Cathy), Heather, Shannon (Rick) and Darren. Great Grandchildren: Tia, Matthew, Trae, Abbi, Audrey, Delano, Darius, Alanna, Madison, Delaney, Gunnar, Urijah, Sarah, Zane M., Samantha, Kyle, and Zane T. Great Great Grandchildren: Annabelle, Ryleigh, and Landon. Our family would also like to express our sincerest and heartfelt thanks to Crystal and Brad. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Lynhurst Baptist Church 1250 S. Lynhurst Dr. Indianapolis. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Betty is going to heaven.
