Betty Jean Brown
85 of Noblesville, Indiana passed away June 23, 2013. Betty Jean Routhier Brown was born January 17, 1928 in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Gaylord High School in Flint, MI in 1947, and attended Hurley School of Nursing in Flint, MI graduating with a RN degree in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Dan Brown.
During her lifetime, she worked as a registered nurse, was active in PEO, and was a loving homemaker to her family. She also loved to travel and enjoyed several trips abroad with her late husband touring Europe and South Africa.
She is survived by her 3 children, daughter Martha Lynne Miller, and husband David of Fishers, IN; son Rodney Scott Brown and wife Patricia of Colleyville, TX; daughter Laura Anne Marcom and husband Keith of Keller, TX; 7 grandchildren; David Michael Miller of Ann Arbor, MI, Matthew Miller of Minneapolis, MN, Amy Miller of Fishers, IN, Rodney Andrew Brown of Dallas, TX, Catherine Brown of Fort Worth, TX, Megan Marcom of Keller, TX and Brett Marcom of Keller, TX.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 with a service at 7:00 in Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel 325 E. Carmel Dr. Carmel, IN. Private burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery 9700 Allisonville Road Indianapolis, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to PEO International (www.donations.peointernational.org) or Alzheimer's Association (www.act.alz.org).
