Betty Jane Wade

Betty Jane (Kluesner) Wade, 93 of Spencer, IN passed away November 14, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on April 14, 1927 to the late John Albert and Lola Mae (Wilkes) Kluesner in Terre Haute, Indiana. She worked for more than 20 years as a Housekeeper for St. Vincent Hospital before retiring. Betty enjoyed spending time with family and loved to cook. The family said some of her special items they were fond of that she made were her noodles on Thanksgiving, Dirt Cake and Salmon Patties, just to name a few. She was survived by her children, Sandy Wade, Frank Wade, grandchildren, Charles Hankins, Cynthia Rusie, Ryan Hankins, Franklin Wade, 7 great grandchildren, her brother, Doug Kluesner, and sister, Pat Church. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, George Wade and a daughter, Tammy Wade. Services will be held 11 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Flanner Buchanan- Floral Park with visitation there Friday, November 20, 2020 4-8 PM. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
