92 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 26, 2023. Betty was born on December 7, 1930, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William and Mary Parker. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church, Alpha Alpha Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Andrew Bowman; brother, Maurice Parker and her parents. She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Dennis) McDaniel, Jodi Towne, Eric (Donna) Bowman and Andrew (Kathy) Bowman; grandchildren, Josh, Megan, Hillary, Zachery, Matthew, Leah, Allison and Lauren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be August 2, 2023, at noon with visitation from 10 am at New Hope Christian Church, Whitestown, Indiana. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
