Betty J. Deaton

Betty Jean Deaton, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 13, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Shafter; parents, Russell and Martha Rogers; and brothers, Marion and Zach Rogers.

Betty is survived by her children, Jeane Maitland (Mark), Sue Deaton, Bill Deaton (Elaine), Norman Deaton (Carol); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Heidi, Jana, Krista, Kenny, Emily, Ryen, Scott, and Abbey; her great-grandchildren, Marianne, Jacob, Andrew, Xander, Rowan, Lachlan, and Torin; and one sister, Zenobia Liles.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2PM-6PM at Flanner Buchanan—Floral Park, 425 N Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46222. A funeral service will begin the following day at 10AM at the funeral home.
