Betty J Dean

Betty J. (Chaffin) Dean, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away March 16, 2014. She was born on March 10, 1936 in Franklin, Kentucky to the late James and Norma (Coley) Chaffin. Survivors include her son, Buddy (Tammy) Dean; four grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Chaffin, Melissa (Jason) Russell, Kile Dean, and Ryan Dean; three great grandchildren, Luke Chaffin, Garrett Russell, and Jaiden Marion. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dean; son, Bill (Phyllis Wilson) Chaffin; and brother, Randall Chaffin. Betty was retired from the Diamond Chain Company after 33 years. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
