Betty Franks Partain

Betty Franks Partain 88, formerly of Harrisburg, IL, passed away, January 1, 2011 in Indianapolis, IN. She was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Harrisburg, IL and a member of Saline County Genealogical Society. She was preceded in death by husbands: Dr. Arthur “Buck” Franks, Jr. and Lyman Partain, son, Burnett Franks and brother, Bill Burnett. She is survived by daughters: Judith Franks Durham and Lynn (Bill) Franks Gosnell, grandchildren: Buck, Bart and Dana Durham, Jennifer Durham Lane and Andrew Gosnell, great-grandchildren: Madeline Durham, Madison and Eliza Lane, Lucas, Drew and Wesley Jayne Durham and Jackson Gosnell and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, Harrisburg, IL In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, IL.
