Betty Jane Drake

Betty Jane Drake passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on February 18, 1929, in Morgan County, Indiana.

Betty will be remembered with love by her family and by all who shared in her life. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Julia Drake, and by her niece, Susan Koch. Their memories of her will remain a lasting source of comfort and connection.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Drake; her son, Randy Drake; and her parents, Charles and Mildred Martin. Those who knew Betty will hold close the place she had within her family across the generations.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Centers - Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229. A funeral service will follow there from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
