Betty Lee Terhune Collier 88 of Carmel, Indiana passed away September 5, 2011. Betty was a member of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, IN. She modeled at the LS. Ayres Tea Room in the late 1950's early 1960's. She bowled on a league at Hindel Lanes and later at Woodland Bowl. She was a volunteer for and member of the Goodwill Guild. She enjoyed playing golf and flying with her husband Clay in their plane, taking trips all over the country. Betty was a dedicated wife, loving mother, happy gardener, volunteer and friend. We will miss her. Betty is survived by her son Glenn (Sue) Collier, daughters, Vicki (Linus) Rude and Cindy (Brian) Verbarg, granddaughters, Stephanie Verbarg, Julie Collier and grandson, Scott (Liz) Collier, step grandchildren, Courtney and Justin Rude. There will be a Celebration of Betty's life on September 8, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank all the care givers and staff at Clare Bridge of Carmel for their love and support over the last 5 years of caring for Betty.
