Betty B. Cobb

Betty B. Cobb, 75, Carmel, passed away December 23, 2017.  She was born June 13, 1942, in O’Keefe, WV, the daughter of the late Byron A. and Cassie (Murphy) Ball.

Betty was a long-time member of Carmel United Methodist Church.  Her faith and daily devotions meant a lot to her. Graduating from high school at 16 years old, she enjoyed being a majorette.  Her early career was as a dental hygienist and over the years, actively participated in tennis, golf, and bowling leagues. Most recently, she loved working in her garden.  Throughout her life, her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family and others.

She is survived by her three children, Susan Knauer, Steve (Kenya) Cobb, and Scott (Alison) Cobb; eight grandchildren, Michael and Jacob, Drew, Lauren, and Megan, and Kennedy, Kirsten, and Brady; and sister, Barbara Neilley.  She was preceded in passing by Donald Cobb and brother, William Ball.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Our Daily Bread Ministries.  Online condolences may be shared by visitingwww.flannerbuchanan.com
