Bettie L Beck

Bettie Lou Beck, 84 years old, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024 at Life’s Journey Hospice in Avon, Indiana.  She was born in Matthews, Missouri on August 30, 1939 to Ronald and Stella Ruffin, and married to Jacob C. Beck on January 31, 1960.

She is survived by grandchildren Brittany (Jason) Guifarro, Alex Smith, and Courtney Smith, sister-in-law Alice Ruffin, nephews RD (Bridget) Ruffin and George (Michelle) Hehr, nieces Dr. Amy (Phil) Kassouf, and Karen (Kevin) Heavrin. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Beck, their daughters Tamara Beck and Paula Smith, her brother Edward Ruffin, and her sister Marjia Hehr.

Bettie was a dedicated and well-loved member of the Avon Heights church of Christ and beloved resident of the Oaks at Brownsburg.
